How your information is used.

The short version

We collect very little. This site runs no advertising, no tracking pixels, and builds no analytics profile of you. Nothing we hold is sold, rented, or traded. What we collect is what you deliberately hand us: usually a name, an email address, and a sentence about the work you want done.

The rest of this page explains that properly, including what we hold, why we hold it, who else ever touches it, and how to have it deleted.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you ask us to follow up, arrange a strategy call, or leave your details with the AI assistant, we record your name, your email address, and a short note on what you are interested in. If you write to the assistant, the text of that conversation is processed so it can answer you.

Information collected automatically. Our servers see the IP address a request arrives from, along with ordinary technical details such as browser type and which page was requested. The IP address is used to rate limit the assistant so it cannot be flooded with automated traffic.

What we never collect. Nothing is sold through this site, so we take no payment details of any kind and store no card numbers. There are no accounts to register for, and we do not ask for dates of birth, government identifiers, or any other sensitive category of personal data.

How we use it

We use what we collect to:

  • reply to you, answer questions about our work, and arrange the free strategy call
  • understand what you are trying to build so we can scope it honestly
  • keep the site running and protect the assistant from abuse
  • improve how the site and the assistant explain what we do

We do not use your information to build an advertising profile, and we do not make automated decisions about you that carry legal or similarly significant consequences.

The AI assistant

The assistant on this site deserves its own explanation, because a third party is involved. When you send it a message, the text of that conversation is transmitted to Groq, which runs the language model that writes the reply. Please do not paste passwords, credentials, client confidential material, or anything else sensitive into the chat.

Your conversation is also kept in your own browser's local storage so it is still there if you come back later. That copy lives on your device, not on a server we control. Choosing New chat clears it, and clearing your browser's site data removes it as well.

If you give the assistant your name and email so that we can follow up, those details are emailed to our team. That is the moment a conversation becomes something we hold.

Cookies, local storage, and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics, or behavioural tracking of any kind. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no advertising network, no advertising identifiers, and no cross-site tracking.

We do use your browser's local and session storage, which work like cookies but stay on your device. They hold your chat history, whether the chat panel was open, and whether the assistant has already greeted you in this session. None of it is transmitted to us as a matter of course, and you can clear it from your browser settings whenever you like.

Because we run no behavioural tracking at all, there is nothing here for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honour it regardless.

Who else handles your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. A small number of providers process it on our behalf so the site can function, each bound to handle it confidentially and only on our instructions:

  • Groq, which runs the language model behind the assistant and processes the messages you send it
  • Resend, which delivers the notification email when you leave your details
  • Upstash, which stores the short-lived counters used to rate limit the assistant
  • Our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps standard server logs
  • DiceBear, which supplies the assistant's avatar image, so your browser requests that file from them directly

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is genuinely necessary to enforce our terms or protect the rights, property, or safety of our clients, our team, or the public.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you send reaches us encrypted in transit. Access to enquiry details is limited to the people at TeamOzy who need them in order to reply to you, and the providers listed above are chosen partly on their own security posture.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify the people affected by email and by a notice on this site within seven business days of establishing what happened.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept while a conversation is live, and afterwards for as long as we have a genuine business reason to keep a record of it. If you would rather yours went sooner, ask and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any point, for any reason or none.

Depending on where you live you may have further statutory rights over your personal data. We apply everything above to everyone regardless of location, so you should not need to invoke a particular law to get a straight answer from us.

Email

We use your email address to reply to you and to follow up on a conversation you started. We do not use misleading subject lines or sender addresses, and every message includes a way to stop hearing from us. Ask to be removed and we will do it promptly, across all correspondence rather than a single list.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses, not children. We do not market to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us something, contact us and we will remove it.

Links to other sites

We occasionally link to other organisations. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we have no control over what they do with your information. If a link from here ever concerns you, tell us and we will look at it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. Anything material will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in quietly.
